Na small drama happen for Nigerian Senate on Tuesday as Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Kogi Central senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan jam head during talk about the Criminal Code Amendment Bill.

Bamidele talk say the bill go make Nigeria law match with today’s social and medical wahala. But senators no gree with each other as dem begin argue wetin be “unlawful abortion.”

Senator Saliu Mustapha from Kwara talk say sometimes abortion fit dey justified medically or religiously. Senator Abdul Ningi from Bauchi even warn say the new law fit make doctors fear to act when woman life dey danger.

As talk begin hot, Akpabio stop the debate and send the bill go Judiciary Committee make dem check am again for two weeks.

But wahala start when Senator Natasha raise hand say she wan talk. She tell Akpabio say, “I be woman and abortion na women matter, make I talk small.”

Akpabio refuse, say the matter don close, and Adams Oshiomhole support am, say if dem allow Natasha talk, e go scatter Senate rule.

“I rule Senator Natasha out of order,” Akpabio talk.

After plenary, Natasha tell journalists say she feel bad say dem no allow her talk for matter wey concern women. “I be woman, I be mama, I suppose talk for this kind issue,” she yarn.

She promise say when the bill come back for committee level, she go talk her mind well well.
