The Federal High Court for Abuja don dismiss one motion wey Department of State Services (DSS) file to re-present evidence wey court don already reject for the trial of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

Justice Peter Lifu, wey deliver the ruling on Tuesday, talk say the court no fit admit the same exhibits again because e don already mark dem as rejected.

The DSS lawyer, Oladipupo Okpeseyi (SAN), bin tell court make dem move go DSS headquarters to inspect motor wey dem collect from Dasuki house since 2015 when dem execute search warrant. E claim say dem first reject the items because proper foundation no dey at that time.

But Dasuki lawyer, Ahmed Raji (SAN), no gree. He tell court say once evidence don reject, the same court no get power to re-admit am again.

Justice Lifu agree with am and blast DSS for trying to use “back door” to reintroduce the same evidence.

“Any attempt to revisit my July 10 ruling go amount to judicial rascality and pettiness. That ruling still dey valid,” the judge talk.

He come dismiss the motion totally, call am baseless, ill-conceived, and abuse of court process.
