Federal Government don assure workers say dem no go see delay for October salary payment even as dem dey upgrade the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS).
Inside one statement wey come from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), Bawa Mokwa, wey be Director of Press, talk say government no get wahala with the upgrade and salary go still land as e suppose be.
OAGF come clear the air say the gist wey dey social media about delay no true. Dem explain say IPPIS don dey use three different payroll system before, but one don move go new software wey dem call SoftSuite since 2024, and now na only EBS and SoftSuite remain.
Dem talk say because the EBS platform don begin show small wahala for performance, government wan move everything go SoftSuite make system run smooth and better.
“This upgrade na old plan wey we just dey continue, no be new thing,” the OAGF talk. “We dey handle am well make e no affect salary payment.”
Dem still talk say any small mistake or wahala wey show for the process, dem dey fix am sharp sharp, and salary no go delay.
The office warn people make dem no dey believe social media talk, say OAGF still dey committed to make sure salary enter workers’ account on time.
OAGF also promise say the upgrade go make Nigeria public money management better and more correct.
