Abuja — The First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, don get big honour as Grand Matron of FRSC Special Marshals on Tuesday for her strong contribution to road safety advocacy across Nigeria.
The decoration ceremony happen for Abuja where Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed and FRSC management give her the award. Tinubu thank them for the recognition and talk say make dem use more technology, enforce speed limit well, and make agencies collaborate to reduce road crashes.
She talk say, “Speed limit dey very crucial. People suppose follow am because we no wan see accident for road. Even for other countries, dem dey follow am. We need more FRSC officers for road, especially for Yuletide season, to save lives.”
Mohammed explain say the First Lady deserve the honour because she dey support welfare of Nigerians and road safety programs. Him add say FRSC dey measure success by reduction in road accidents and quick post-crash response, in line with President Bola Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda.
