Survivors of the Monday early-morning attack wey happen for Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga, for Danko/Wasagu LGA of Kebbi State don narrate the serious horror wey dem face as bandits kill the Vice Principal, Hassan Makuku, and carry 25 female students.

The attack happen around 3 a.m., throw the whole community inside mourning as parents, teachers and villagers dey search for answer on where the missing girls dey.

Police and military don start heavy search-and-rescue operation as dem enter bush to find the abductors and bring back the girls.

How Attackers Take Operate for One Hour

Eyewitnesses talk say the bandits operate free-free for more than one hour without any resistance.

Hostel matron, Hajia Maryam Bello, say she sense wahala when she hear cry around 3:00 a.m.
When she peep outside, she see many armed men.
“One of dem dey shout my name, tell me make I open door. I lock myself instead,” she talk.

Dem try break her door with cutlass but e no open. Dem later go girls’ hostel go carry students.

One papa, Abubakar, say he meet him small daughter shaking but him elder daughter Khadija no dey.
“She tell me say bandits carry her. I almost faint,” he talk.
He say the small girl hide with three others. Three come out when bandits threaten them but she no gree come out.

Wife of the Vice Principal narrate how dem break into their house first.
“Dem kill my husband and force my daughter lead them go hostel,” she cry. “When dem see the girls, dem forget her.”

Army, Police, Vigilantes Don Enter Bush

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, land Kebbi on Tuesday. He tell soldiers say failure no be option.
“We must find these children,” he talk.

He meet local hunters, vigilante groups make dem support the mission.
Governor Nasir Idris visit the school too, promise say government go do everything humanly possible to rescue the girls.

Security teams don scatter ground and aerial search for forests wey join Kebbi and Zamfara States.

Government also deny rumour say dem withdraw security before the attack, call am “dangerous lie.”
