Former Kano State Governor and leader of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, don clear road say e no go enter All Progressives Congress (APC) just like that, unless him party members see real benefit.
Kwankwaso yarn dis one when Buhari Bakwana, former political adviser to ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, waka come meet am for him Miller Road house with APC stakeholders from all the 44 local government areas for Kano.
According to Kwankwaso, NNPP no be small party again because dem get strong structures across all di states with gubernatorial candidates wey don ready. Na why he dey demand clear assurance before any merger or movement go happen.
“If una wan make we join APC, tell us wetin NNPP go gain. We get governorship candidates everywhere and full structure nationwide. Wetin una go give them if we join?” Kwankwaso ask.
The former Defence Minister remind people say during Buhari eight years under APC, him camp chop nothing – not even ordinary appreciation. He still drag PDP say when dem ask for just one zonal party chairman position, dem still reject am, and na why he waka comot peacefully.
“Eight years under Buhari APC give us nothing. PDP sef no gree us when we beg for one zonal chairman. We waka comot with dignity, and today NNPP dey strong with integrity,” he talk.
Kwankwaso make am clear say he no close door against APC, but na only if strong conditions and promises dey ground. “We no go allow anybody use us and later dump us,” he warn.
