Lagos Extend Train Service Time Because of ‘The Experience 2025’

According to LAMATA:

“The LRMT Blue Line go run extra hours on Friday, December 5, 2025, till 11:43 pm instead of the usual 9:30 pm.”

For Saturday, December 6, train movement go start as early as 4:00 am and close by 9:30 pm.

LAMATA also confirm say the LRMT Red Line go run on Friday but e go maintain the normal timetable—
6:00 am – 10:00 am and 5:20 pm – 8:40 pm.
Red Line no dey operate on Saturdays.

The transport agency talk say from Sunday, December 7, 2025, everything go return back to the normal timetable.

Dem remind Lagos residents say access to both Blue and Red Line trains require Cowry Card, and dem advise commuters—especially worshippers wey dey go The Experience 2025—to plan well, follow station instruction, and cooperate with officials make movement smooth.

The Experience Lagos na one of the biggest gospel concerts for Africa, wey Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church start for 2006. Every first Friday of December, worshippers full Tafawa Balewa Square to capacity, and the event dey stream live worldwide.
