Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) don knock All Progressives Congress (APC) say dem no get any moral ground to complain about di conduct of Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over di political wahala for Rivers State.
According to PDP, Wike no be member of di party again, and APC na dem knowingly decide to work with am for political advantage. Di opposition party talk say APC must now manage di consequences of dia own action, instead of crying foul.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, yarn this one on Tuesday for Abuja while reacting to di public exchange between Wike and APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, over Rivers State politics.
Ememobong say APC National Secretary fit dey rely on outdated information if e still think say Wike be PDP member. He stress say PDP don expel Wike and im supporters, and na why APC dey face di current problem.
“The law no allow person benefit from wrong wey e create, neither you fit complain of injury wey you cause yourself. APC willingly engage Wike, collect di benefit before, now di same thing don turn liability. Dem must manage am,” Ememobong talk.
He also reject any attempt to drag PDP enter di APC internal crisis, say di same behaviour wey APC dey complain about now na wetin dem dey celebrate before when e favour dem.
“As dem dey jubilate before, nobody complain. Now wey e don turn problem, dem dey shout. PDP no go join dem for di confusion,” he add.
Ememobong further say when something wrong, e wrong, no matter party line. He insist say anybody wey dey engage in anti-party activity suppose clearly choose where e belong.
According to PDP spokesman, APC alone enjoy di political gains from Wike actions and dem alone suppose face di fallout.
“Wetin APC dey experience na injury wey dem inflict on themselves. Dem feed di monster because e dey useful. Now di monster don turn back on dem. Na so e be,” he conclude.
Di PDP maintain say Rivers politics na APC problem now, and di ruling party must handle di situation wey dem create by themselves.
