Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State don talk say the people of Ihiala now get reason to dey celebrate as peace don finally return for the area wey before now no dey safe.
During him campaign stop for Ihiala Local Government, Soludo talk say the event no be ordinary rally but celebration of freedom.
He remember say four years ago, insecurity make am impossible for any political party to hold campaign for the place.
“One time we schedule APGA rally for here, but na gunshot full everywhere that day. People wound, election sef dem postpone,” he talk.
The governor thank security people and community leaders wey help bring peace come back. He also announce say government don start amnesty programme for youths wey wan leave bad life join better one.
Soludo beg the ones wey still hide to come out make dem collect training and support wey go help dem start new life.
Rev. Fr. Ernest Obiegwu, wey talk for Ebonesie communities—Azia, Orsumoghu, Lilu, Mbosi, Isekke and Ubuluisiuzor—thank the governor say churches don open again and dem don start dey do Mass after many years.
Pastor Azuka Mgbochi, Chief Nwabueze Umeh and Hon. Chika Obi also hail Soludo say peace don return and dem fit now sleep with two eyes closed.
Other community members like Comrade Ukatu Damian, Adaobi Orizu and Ichie Ifeanyi Orjiakor promise to work hand-in-hand to make sure the governor win again and continue the good work.
