President Bola Tinubu don confirm say him go attend the 8th Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS) wey go happen for Abuja from November 11 to 13, 2025.
Chairmo of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, yarn the tori for Abuja on Friday, say the event don turn big platform wey dey connect Nigerians wey dey abroad with business and investment chance for inside the country.
Since e start for 2018, the summit don dey bring investors, entrepreneurs and government people together to boost key areas like real estate, ICT, health, agriculture, manufacturing, and entertainment.
Dabiri-Erewa talk say last year own bring about ₦673 million investment deals across different sectors. “We get over 1,500 people wey join the summit, including investors, business owners and government officials. Na 56 business ideas wey people pitch, and 168 deals wey come out of am,” she talk.
She still confirm say President Tinubu go show face again this year as Special Guest of Honour.
“We dey expect big business people, diaspora investors and creative minds wey believe for Nigeria potential,” she add.
The theme for this year na ‘Fast-Tracking Regional and National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment.’
NiDCOM also talk say the summit don help small businesses well-well as over ₦500 million don enter the local economy from services wey dem hire from SMEs and creative people during past events.
